What catches people out
- 50 x 70 mm — the largest of the common standards, and used by almost nobody else.
- Head height chin to crown must be 31–36 mm.
- The photographer must stamp or write their name, address and the date taken on the back of one photo. No other major country requires this.
- Photos must be taken by a commercial photographer, not at home.
- Two identical photos are required.
